The Ducati Roadshow parked up at The Green Welly Stop, Tyndrum on Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th April, 9.30am - 4pm and definitely painted the A85 red.
The Ducati Glasgow / UK Roadshow provided motorcycle enthusiasts in Scotland with almost the entire 2018 Ducati model range, an extended demonstrator fleet to ride around some of Scotland’s most stunning scenery. The California Superbike School were also in attendance with experienced guides who mapped out the routes and took groups of riders out for a 30 minute spin, every 45 minutes on these incredible high-performance bikes.
Ducati Glasgow support the Ducati UK event truck every year with their shared demonstrator fleet therefore, this fully-booked event has become a permanent fixture on the Ducati UK events calendar. For 2018 the number of Ducati models available was increased due to customer demand.
The demonstrator fleet showcased the 2018 models including the new Panigale V4 S, Multistrada 1260, 1200 and 950, SuperSport, models from the Diavel cruiser range and various Monsters, as well as the popular Scrambler 800s. With over 120 test rides pre-booked over the two days, the brand new Scrambler 1100 Special, 1100 Classic and Multistrada 1260 S were also on display so visitors always had some definite Ducati eye candy to admire.
The Scottish Ducati Club also arrived in style to present their classic and special edition models which included an ultra-limited edition Ducati Panigale S Anniversario, a 205bhp high-tech, range-topping Italian superbike aimed at marking 90 years since Ducati was founded, and a limited-edition Ducati Paul Smart 1000 LE. A retro styled motorcycle built by Ducati in 2006 to commemorate Paul Smart's win at the Imola 200 race in 1972, a win that helped define Ducati's future approach to racing, was also on show. Visitors who were thinking of changing their bike also received a part-exchange estimate on the day.
So, if you fancy heading out on a ride to The Green Welly Stop, trying out a new Ducati model across some of Scotland most popular roads with safe and experienced guides on hand, seeing some immaculate and limited edition bikes on display without even having to visit a dealership, all courtesy of Ducati Glasgow - it’s definitely a date for your diary next year.
