The fifth generation of the Ducati Monster redefines what it means to ride naked. Compact, muscular and unmistakably Ducati — the 2026 Monster blends lightness, technology, and heritage for riders who demand authentic performance.

Design

With its bison-back tank, muscular shoulders, and short tail, the new Monster captures the essence of the original 1992 icon. The full-LED headlight with Ducati’s signature double “C” design gives the Monster a bold, modern identity. Each detail, from the side panels to the seat stitching, celebrates Italian craftsmanship and performance.

Engine & Performance

At its core is the all-new 890 cc Ducati V2 engine with IVT (Intake Variable Timing) — delivering 111 hp at 9,000 rpm and 91.1 Nm of torque at 7,250 rpm. Over 80% of torque is available between 4,000 and 10,000 rpm, ensuring responsive power for every scenario.

With a class-leading 45,000 km maintenance interval and 175 kg wet weight, the Monster offers both thrilling performance and everyday usability.

Chassis & Handling

A monocoque aluminium frame, Showa 43 mm upside-down fork, and Showa monoshock make the Monster agile yet stable. Dual 320 mm Brembo brakes ensure confident control, while Pirelli Diablo Rosso IV tyres deliver outstanding grip.

Technology

Riders enjoy four Riding Modes — Sport, Road, Urban, and Wet — controlled via a new petal-shaped joystick and 5" TFT display. The system is Ducati Multimedia System and Turn-by-Turn Navigation ready, with cornering ABS, Ducati Traction Control (DTC), Ducati Wheelie Control (DWC), and Engine Brake Control (EBC) all standard.
