2012 Ducati Multistrada Riding Modes Explained

4 bikes in 1 at the click of a switch: Riding Modes

-          3 different mappings for the engine
-          Electronic suspension with different setting levels
-          8 Ducati Traction Control DTC sensitivity levels

By combining these aspects in an appropriate way, we've developed 4 different configurations called Riding Modes.

Each riding mode has been given a name:
Sport, Enduro, Urban and Touring.

SPORT ENDURO URBAN Touring
Each Riding Mode is preset but can be changed and personalised according to each rider's specific needs and preferences.

As soon as the Multistrada 1200 is started up, one of the 4 different Riding Modes can be selected.

with a passenger, or with a passenger and luggage. (see right)

We're now ready to enjoy our Multistrada 1200 in almost any environment in the preferred mode. The Riding Mode selected is displayed on the instrument pane. (see above right)

We've made it very quick and easy to switch between Riding Modes: just by clicking on the indicator return switch when the bike is either moving or stationary, the characteristics of the Multistrada 1200 can be changed entirely.

As a result, we have more than just a versatile motorcycle: We have 4 bikes in 1!
