Ducati Glasgow - Dealer of the Year 2008
11 December 2008

(Left to right, Martin and Troy Bayliss)
I am delighted to announce that Kerrie and I have just returned from the 3rd Annual Global Ducati Conference in Milan where we were awarded the most prestigious award of Dealer of the Year 2008, not only that but we also brought home the award for Top Sales, meaning we sold more new Ducati motorcycles than any other Dealer in the UK in 2008!
The awards were presented by none other than Troy Bayliss World Superbike Champion and Tim Maccabee Managing Director of Ducati UK.
Since we opened in 2002 , we have strived to offer a premium customer service to each and every person that walks through our door. These awards are the culmination of that effort and would simply not be possible without the enormous effort of the staff that work in this family business.
My heart felt thanks, appreciation and respect goes out to all of our staff - Tracy, 'Mum', Kerrie, Blair, Harry, George, Charlie and Roger for their dedication, hard work and ongoing effort that has made it possible for us to achieve these accolades. Their collective energy, enthusiasm, knowledge and passion for the brand is second to none.
I must also mention the assistance and effort of the team that created and who currently run the Scottish Ducati Club , they have provided a platform for both our customers and Ducati fans to join together and experience a vital part of the Ducati lifestyle. These people, that give their own personal time freely to run this club, are some of the best ambassadors that you could ask for to help promote the brand. Together, we can now say Scotland is truly a force to be reckoned with on the world Ducati map!
To all of our customers that have enjoyed the brand with us over the last 6.5 years and supported us through thick and thin, I would also personally offer my thanks to you.
As we move into 2009, our seventh year in business, we are already on track to offer an even better customer experience. We are currently in the process of updating and renewing our internal infrastructure to enable us to offer an increased service to you, our customer. By Christmas this year those changes will have taken place.
In line with Ducati in Italy we are rebranding with a new logo and the internal and external look of our store will alter in line with these changes. We look forward to sharing the final results with you.
In short we will not rest this winter, it is a very busy time for us and we are looking forward with even more vigour to serving you in 2009.
My sincere thanks and best regards.
