From October 2008, every customer purchasing a new Ducati in Europe will receive a top of the range back protector. Whether taking on the challenge of city traffic, enjoying the mountain curves or a day at the track, this initiative is intended to help all Ducati riders be aware of their safety by using adequate and appropriate protective clothing - including a back protector.

Ducati is committed to promoting safety and has signed the European Road Safety Charter, contributing to the EU target of halving the number of fatal road traffic accidents by the end of 2010. The programme, which promotes awareness and action intended to reduce the number of road traffic accident victims, may save 25,000 lives.
